Delete your Mindknot account

You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time, straight from the app. No emails to write, no waiting period, no retention tricks.

Delete from inside the app

Open Mindknot and sign in.
Open the menu and go to Settings.
Choose Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and data are removed right away.

Cannot access the app?

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the data we hold about you. This cannot be undone.

Your profile, display name, bio and avatar.
Every spiral you mapped and the insights generated from them.
Anything you shared to the feed, including comments and reactions.
Your connections and the messages inside them.
Your sign in details and account record.

Ordinary technical logs needed for security and stability expire on their own within a short period. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
